is functioning in two directions: international activity and foreign students` education. Since 1978 foreign students have been trained at the Academy. They may apply for admission to study at the Academy if they hold a recognized secondary school certificate.
There is a Preparatory Department, which has been function since 1990. It prepares candidates for entering the Academy and other Higher Schools in Ukraine and CIS. Students from North and South America, Tunisia, Morocco, Syria, Iran, China, Byelorussia, Russia study in Academy.
The future students will study in Russian, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, Chemistry, Engineering Graphics, Plotting, and Biology.
Entrance to the Preparatory Department of the Academy is free of examinations, which is open to any foreign students under 30.
The academic year at the Preparatory Department starts on September 1st. Foreign students are provided with the student card.
The price of our courses is about 1000 USD per year. A cashless settlement is available. On graduation students obtain Preparatory Department Certificate, which gives them an opportunity to continue further training at the Academy or other higher schools in Ukraine.
Students` hostel is available for Preparatory Department students. It is situated near the academy. Apartments have the look of block which consists of 8 rooms, kitchen, and bathroom.
The area of rooms for students is 12 and 18 square meters. For maintenance of comfortable conditions of residing and rest the gym, working rooms for preparation, a medical insulator, an assembly hall functions. Near the hostel there are food shops, a dining room, a communication facility, cafe, a complex of household services. Fee of the hostel is about 15 USD per month. Foreigners have the right to rent a flat.

Запорізька державна інженерна академія є єдиним вищим навчальним закладом у Запорізькому регіоні, де готують фахівців за такими спеціальностями, як

  Підготовка іноземних спеціалістів ведеться з 1978 року. За цей час було випущено більш ніж 500 спеціалістів для 50 країн світу.
  З 1990 року в академії функціонує Підготовче відділення для іноземних громадян. Тут студентів навчають українській мові і професійно готують до вступу до ЗДІА та інших вищих навчальних закладів України.
  Сьогодні на Підготовчому відділенні навчаються студенти з Марокко, Тунісу, Китаю, Сирії, Лівану. Вони вивчають
• українську мову,
• математику,
• фізику,
• хімію,
• інженерну графіку,
• інформатику,
• країнознавство.
  
• По закінченні навчання студентам видається свідоцтво і вони мають змогу продовжувати навчання на основних курсах академії.
  Після закінчення ЗДІА іноземні громадяни отримують кваліфікації бакалаврів та магістрів з відповідних напрямів освіти та диплом міжнародного зразка.
